You Can't Plan Inspiration {Austin Portrait Photographer}

It was the 20th day of February at approximately 9 o' clock in the evening.  I was having a stare down with my camera, as it was calling my name, but it was 9PM... what was I going to take pictures of? So I call up my best friend, Alex, who has been my impromptu model for years (she's fantastic at it), and said... I want to take pictures.. but I don't know what of.  30 minutes later we're driving downtown - Alex with a black cocktail dress and high heels on, and me - camera in hand, still not exactly sure what we're going to do.  We ended up at The Austin Symphony building of Auditorium Shores. Anyway, they turned out to be some of my favorite photographs I've ever taken.  Hence, the title of this blog post...
