Engagement Photos..

Are one of my favorite things to take!! They're so fun and you can see the excitement, love, nerves, and all the rest that comes along with getting married in each picture!!
Jessie and Nolan are going to have a beautiful December wedding and tonight we snapped some gorgeous engagement photos at the beautiful Mount Bonnell.

Were my latest models - and the pictures turned out great!

I have yet to edit them all but thought i'd throw a sneak out (...more so for Melissa :D)

These 2 were great - they both gave creative ideas and by the end of the shoot people were climbing on trees, sleeping in wheelbarrows, really.. the options were endless :)

Pet Photography...

Was an assigment we had in my fundamentals of photography class this monday. We met a park and one of my classmates brought her dog. Was in 50 degrees with a strong wind? Yes, yes it was. Did i have a jacket? No, no i didn't.
Anyway, it was a little different from what i usually do but still good fun.

Are SO MUCH FUN to work with!!!
My friend came in town the other day just for a short time - enough time for me to pester her to do a photo shoot! :) It was so fun and we got some great shots - these ones with the fun colored backgrounds are my favorite

12:31AM... Photoshop consumes my soul

To your average college student, staying up past midnight is nothing out of the ordinary.
To this college student, staying up past 9 is out of the ordinary!!!
Yet here i am... playing on photoshop and working on building my website.. Lets be honest, if i tried to sleep i would just lay in my bed with my mind spinning with ideas.. my contacts have fully dried to my eye balls now so that's always a good sign to get off the computer!!
However, i thought i might as well share what has kept me up this late! (or at least 4 of the things i was working on) the website cannot be shown until i go live! But get excited folks.. the day will soon come when i launch my new website!! Stay tuned...

Working with a rock star...

Is never an easy thing!
Ok, so maybe i didn't work with a rock star but taking pictures of my friend Andy sure did feel like it!
Just kidding, Andy was great! He made crazy facial expressions that made me laugh the entire shoot but i caught some good ones when he wasn't being a goof!

Graduation is upon us!

My good friends Andy and Steph are graduating in December from Texas State University!!! They asked me to take some grad pics and make an invitation for them so we went down to the campus this weekend and did a little shoot! They put up with my crazy ideas and we had lots of fun!

So today in my fundamentals class we did a fun photo shoot - Daniel, one of my classmates - got thrown in front of the backdrop though and was forced to be our model as all the girls refused! :P These were my favorites.

A crazy weekend

This weekend was far from your normal relaxing on the couch weekend!
Me and my friend Steph spent it running around dog sitting 3 different houses in Austin and Leander.
Of course i was not going to leave my camera behind!

You may be thinking.. this doesn't sound like too crazy of a weekend Jess! Well.. imagine driving to one of your dog sitting houses and seeing this in the mirror!!

"Burnet Durnit, Can't ya learn it?!"

This past weekend my parents and some friends went on retreat at Thunderbird resort. The title is a line my friend kept saying because i couldn't get passed the british accent inside of me wanting to pronounce burnet the way it should be... but no no it's BURN IT and that's what she would tell me! Anyway, got a chance to snap a few pictures - thought i'd share. (Little Levi was an amazing model - the beautiful boy in last 3 pictures.. he's gonna be a heart breaker folks!)
