LOVE the results of my coffee table book

As I said in my last blog entry - earlier this week i worked very hard to get a client sample coffee table book - 4 hours straight! However, all the hard work paid off as I am SO PLEASED with the results of how it turned out. Please excuse the lack of studio lighting and background but I promised pictures! So I figured the tile of my apartment is as good a background as any :) I wish i could show all the pages alas that would make for a loooong blog entry, and it looks so much better in person you're just going to have to wait!

When the book is open, it lays completely flat - making for a great 2 page spread

This last picture has NOTHING to do with my coffee table book! But I wanted to share as I love how it turned out - i had my logo matted and printed in a 16x20 print to display at the upcoming carnival, which has now been postponed due to swine flu - will update when i know when it is going to be rescheduled! However, here's a peak at that too --

After 4 hours of tears and sweat....

Ok well, maybe not tears and sweat, but after LOTS OF HARD WORK! I just finished my sample client coffee table book - I have sent it off to print and can't wait to see the results :)
I will post pictures when it comes - hopefully soon and before my carnival that I have a booth at next weekend. If anyone is in the Austin/Cedar Park area you should stop by! It's the Patsy Sommer Spring Carnival and I will be there with a booth to promote Jess Watson Photography! Feel free to stop by and see me - I will be handing out flyers to save you 25% off your next photo shoot sitting fee - don't miss out!! :)
So stay tuned to see the final results of the coffee table book, thanks for stopping by!

Layla & Dave's Wedding

What a beautiful wedding that I had the pleasure of photographing this weekend! Layla and Dave are such a great couple and taking their pictures was so fun! I had no problem going through my pictures and finding great shots - the hardest thing was getting them down to a few favorites to post on my blog! Thanks again Layla and Dave, and congratulations!

Alan and Amber

This weekend Jess Watson Photography and Laura Watson Photography (of Houston, TX) collaborated their forces! We had the pleasure of photographing Alan and Amber's beautiful wedding. The wedding took place at a beautiful country club in a ballroom surrounded by windows looking out onto the golf course. The view was gorgeous and made for some great pictures! Alan and Amber are a wonderful couple and made the whole experience very enjoyable! They were willing to try whatever ideas Laura and I had. So here are a few of my favorite shots from the "big day"

Showing off their aggie pride!

LOVE these next two shots of the newlyweds!
